How America’s Hottest City is Trying to Cool Down

Urban neighborhoods that lack trees and green spaces have, on average, much higher temperatures than neighborhoods that do. The neighborhoods without green or nature spaces tend to be lower income the higher temperatures contribute to higher rates of heat-related illnesses.
